This proposal is for my Anthropology 179 project. The focus of this project is on music and technology as an expression of culture. It will mainly focus on American culture and how music and technology has affected it. Throughout time music has been an integral part of human society. No matter where one goes, music can be found in one form or another. It can be found as a form of communication, entertainment, and even in several religious services. This project will do its best to show how technology has affected the musical culture of America.
